The CSUF Center for Entrepreneurship is proud to announce that long time Ernst & Young Partner Michael Okabayashi has joined its board.

Known affectionately as “Mike O”, his career focused on both EY’s Strategic Growth Markets and Entrepreneurial Services Groups, including leadership roles for these divisions. His clients span emerging companies with VC/Angel funding, Post IPO, Private Equity Owned and privately held companies. He served a broad array of industries over his career, including Technology, Consumer Products/Retail, Automotive, Life Science, Restaurants, Aerospace & Defense, and emerging Disruptors. He also led EY’s Japanese Tax Practice for the West Region.

With his work completed at EY, Mike now devotes his time to Philanthropy and advising Entrepreneurs. In particular, he is focused on early stage companies in the Health Tech, Ed Tech and Fin Tech verticals. Mike recently sponsored the CSUF Chapter of University Innovation Fellows which aspires to spark innovation on the CSUF campus while encouraging student success and collaborating on mental health/wellness/resiliency initiatives.
