CSUF Entrepreneurship Scholarship Deadline: April 23 by 11:59pm

Purpura Family Entrepreneurial Scholarship

Amount: $1,500

Established by: Bill Purpura

Open to: All students currently developing a startup.

Criteria:  For consideration, all startups must have a founding team in place. Startups must be for-profit.

Application Procedure: Submission of a business plan and/or a pitch deck that outlines the problem, solution, who the customers are, how you will reach them, competitive landscape, and any other relevant materials. Submit to csufentrepreneurship@fullerton.edu by the due date.

Purpura Family Intraprenuer Scholarship

Amount: $1,500

Established by: Bill Purpura

Open to: All students currently working on new growth opportunities from inside an existing business.

Criteria:  For consideration, the student must be actively working with an existing business as an employee, intern, or consultant. Students must be currently enrolled at Cal State Fullerton.

Application Procedure: Submission of growth plan that outlines the opportunity (problem), solution, budget, and other resources that are needed to implement. Submit to csufentrepreneurship@fullerton.edu by the due date.

Conrey Insurance Brokers and Risk Managers Entrepreneurial Scholarship

Amount: $3,500

Established by: This scholarship was established by Conrey Insurance Brokers and Risk Managers on behalf of the Entrepreneurship Program in the CSUF College of Business and Economics, Cal State Fullerton.

Open to: This scholarship is open to full-time students in their junior year, entering their senior year in the upcoming fall semester, having completed not less than 20-semester units or hours at CSUF at the time of applying. All applicants must be majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship.

Criteria: 2.5 GPA (employed and/or extracurricular activities) or 3.0 GPA (unemployed or not involved in extracurricular activities)

Application Procedure: The online application will be available January 4. To access the application, go to your CSUF portal (be sure to use the new portal) and click on the “Scholarships” icon. Follow the onscreen instructions and be sure to answer all questions.

The Patel Family Scholarship

Amount: Two (2) $250 scholarships

Established by: The Patel family

Open to: This scholarship is open to students majoring or minoring in Entrepreneurship and enrolled during the Spring semester.

Criteria: Person should be in financial need ♦ Is currently employed ♦ Prefered that the student is the first in their family to pursue higher education ♦ Majoring or minoring in entrepreneurship

Application Procedure: The online application will be available January 4. To access the application, go to your CSUF portal (be sure to use the new portal) and click on the “Scholarships” icon. Follow the onscreen instructions and be sure to answer all questions.

Thrive Financial & Bookkeeping Service Entrepreneurial Scholarship

Amount: one (1) $500 scholarship

Established by: This scholarship was established by Thrive Financial & Bookkeeping Services on behalf of the Enrepreneurship Program in the CSUF College of Business and Economics, Cal State Fullerton

Open to: This scholarship is open to students majoring or minoring in Entrepreneurship and enrolled during the Spring semester.

Criteria: 2.5 GPA

Application Procedure: The online application will be available January 4. To access the application, go to your CSUF portal (be sure to use the new portal) and click on the “Scholarships” icon. Follow the onscreen instructions and be sure to answer all questions.
