CSUF Entrepreneurship Students Provide Innovative Solutions For Companies Struggling To Survive Through The Pandemic

CSUF Elephant

“The only constant in life is change.”

As an entrepreneur, I thrive on change. It’s what gets me up in the morning and what drives me to work with so many students and companies. And, at this time, you need to change how you do business.

So much has happened since the start of the year and it looks like the pace of change will only accelerate over the next months or even years. While studying what our student consulting program has done in the past for clients, I immediately recalled work that one of our student teams did for a large chain hotel right after the great recession of 2008/2009. The team was expecting to work on the hotel’s marketing program but they discovered that the company could reap more benefit from embracing sustainable practices.

This last semester was disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic but that didn’t stop our student teams from providing excellent recommendations to our clients. One of our teams helped the client create a digital version of their bricks and mortar service that has already brought in revenue for the client. Another one of our clients was working on a video service for exclusive live events and they were able to quickly change gears, create a digital solution perfect for our remote times, and have already landed advertisers in less than a month of operation.

Change is inevitable and the inevitable is now. Work with one of our student teams to develop solutions that will not only help your business survive but thrive. For consideration in our program, please fill out a Request for Consulting and submit it to Charlesetta Medina at cymedina@fullerton.edu.

Sincerely,
