Questions and Answers – CSUF Titan Fast Pitch 2021

Q. Are the Titan Fast Pitch Finals open to the public?

A. No. Due to covid safety restrictions, Titan Fast Pitch is not open to the public.

Q. Can I bring my family, friends, teacher, or other guests?

A. Yes, you can bring guests. We hope you do. The Finals are more fun with friends. However, please limit to 3 guests or less, the room has a capacity limit.

Q. Do I have to show proof of vaccination?

A. No. Guests to the CSUF campus do not have to show proof of vaccination.

Q. Do I have to wear a mask?

A. Yes. Face masks are required indoors, even while pitching. Face Coverings on Campus | Titans Return: COVID-19 Recovery (fullerton.edu)

Q. Is there a dress code?

A. No. There is no required dress code. Competitors make an impression on judges when they dress in the style of their industry. That could mean a suit/dress, lab coat, business casual, hoodie, etc.

Q. Do I have to pitch the same idea at the Finals that I pitched in the Bullpen Round?

A. No. You do not have to pitch the same idea.

Q. Will Middle School competitors be taking questions from the judges?

A. No. Middle School competitors will not be taking questions from the judges. High School and College/University students will answer questions from judges.

Q. How long should my pitch be?

A. Your pitch should be 90 seconds long. Judges will have 3 1/2 minutes to ask questions (High School and College/University only).

Q. What advice can you give me on pitching?
