Find out how a CSUF Entrepreneurship Startup is Saving Lives

The semester at Cal State Fullerton is now a few weeks old and we are in full swing educating the next generation of entrepreneurs, working with consulting clients, building businesses, and hosting workshops for the business community!

There are a lot of great things going on and I want to share one of them with you. Recently, one of our students, Bryan Ruef, along with his brother Kevin, and their company, 10-8 Systems, was instrumental in saving hundreds of lives in the Bahamas in the wake of Hurricane Dorian. Thanks to their software, first responders were able to reach and save over 300 people trapped in a church with a caved in roof and their software helped save hundreds of others in similarly dire situations. Wow!

Stories like this is why I am always excited to go to work every day and it is why I am excited to announce the launch of my own radio show on Titan Radio. The first episode is this Tuesday at 1pm and my first guest will be Bryan Ruef. I hope you can tune in and, if the mood strikes you, call in but, if you can’t, the episode will also be available as a podcast.
