The Center for Entrepreneurship is thrilled to announce that long time CSUF Entrepreneurship mentor, judge, and donor Bill Purpura is now a member of the CSUF Entrepreneurship Advisory Board. Welcome, Bill!

For those of you who do not know Bill’s background, here’s his bio:

Retired Boeing Senior Systems/Project Engineer (P6) with over 45 years’ experience primarily in advanced aerospace defense programs. Expert in Intellectual Property, (20 patents, 2 trade Secrets). Nationally recognized for System Engineering & Project Engineering. Expertise in proposals, Systems of Systems architectures, & Technology roadmaps plus expertise in rapid identification of critical program/systems issues and creation of preliminary solutions. Hold DoD Secret Classification.

Concurrently co-founded, and still operate, Dargon Development. This is our now 35-year-old holding company that managed the original multiple LLCs we co-founded and managed as General partners that later merged into the multi-million-dollar Eureka Investment Club until we closed it at the end of 2019.

Author of 7 national & 16 Boeing Technology Excellence Conference/PM Conference papers, 2 published articles in technology journals, & 60+training courses for industry plus an additional 9 for CSUF classes.

Awarded BSME, MSME, & MBA degrees plus three certificates in S/W Engineering by CSUF

California Licensed Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE), Project management Institute (PMI) Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).  California & SEC Registered Investment Advisor (RIA, Retired).

Three term CSUF Alumni Board Director, CSUF Center for Entrepreneurship Advisory Board Member. CSUF Business and Economics Executive Council mentor, Student Team Mentor for both CSUF ECS and School of Business and Economics Senior Project teams since 2010, USAA Certified level 2 Coach as well as Level 2 tournament Judge, Volunteer Assistant coach of CSUF Archery Club since 2002
