CSUF Entrepreneurship Success Story: Lee Daigle '11

Lee Daigle ’11

Lee Daigle graduated from Cal State Fullerton in May of 2011 with a major in Entrepreneurship.

Bitten by the new venture bug, Lee immediately joined a Newport Beach startup publication called “My MapBook.” Despite Lee’s best efforts, the publication was not able to successfully launch in Newport Beach though it was successful in the Bay area.

However, working at the company taught Lee about the importance of sales and how to engage people. Lee took what he learned from that startup and founded the Daigle Agency, a Farmers Insurance Agency. Today Lee is a provider of auto, home, life, and business insurance and is licensed to sell insurance in California. His office is located in Laguna Hills.

Lee recalls the lectures in his CSUF New Venture Launch class about getting the business to revenue and the importance of the selling process. He now freely admits that “he gets it” and “loves sales.” He credits his Entrepreneurship studies as instrumental in helping him find his way professionally.

Lee Daigle: yet another CSUF Entrepreneurship success story.
