Director Jackson Honored As One of OC’s Most Influential

CSUF Center for Entrepreneurship Director John Jackson is honored as one of Orange County’s most influential individuals in the annual Orange County Business Journal‘s OC500.

Congratulations to CSUF Center for Entrepreneurship Director, John Bradley Jackson, for being recognized as one of Orange County's most influential.

The OC500 honors individuals from all sectors of the Orange County economy. Honorees range from top executives at the largest publicly held companies to up-and-coming entrepreneurs, as well as a diverse group of government, philanthropic, religious, education, and other civic representatives.

Director Jackson’s Third Time on OC500 Influencer’s List

2021 is Director Jackson’s third inclusion on the OCBJ OC500.

In addition to teaching Entrepreneurship at CSUF, Director Jackson oversees a Student Consulting Program, a Startup Incubator, a multi-university event called Orange County Celebrates Entrepreneurs, and a Fast Pitch competition. He is also the founder of BirdDog Group Consulting and Titan Angels LLC.

Director Jackson oversees the CSUF Center for Entrepreneurship Student Consulting which has won 14 National Titles and has been a Finalist 37 times.

“I’m proud of what we’ve built here at Cal State Fullerton. It doesn’t matter what stage an entrepreneur is at, we have the resources and guidance. Our students have gone on to start hundreds of successful businesses, appear on Shark Tank, and take companies public. Likewise, I’m equally as proud of our students who take their entrepreneurial lessons and apply them to improving existing businesses,” says Director Jackson.

Director Jackson is co-organizer of Orange County Celebrates Entrepreneurs which encourages and equips up and coming entrepreneurs by sharing stories from entrepreneurs who thriving and successful.

“The positive compounding effect of our graduates on their businesses, their communities, their families, and themselves is incalculable. Of course, we can’t do this alone. The support of the school, our donors, our mentors, and the local business community, is vital to delivering the impact that our Center delivers. 2021 OCBJ OC500 - CSUF President Framroze Virjee, CSUF College of Business and Economics Dean Sri Sundaram, and CSUF Woods Center Director Anil Puri.

The OC500 bound book distributed to subscribers of the Orange County Business Journal. As a result, the book provides readers an up-close look at the influencers driving local, economic growth in Orange County. Moreover, with a print circulation of 18,000, the OC500 will help readers learn how they can help train the next generation of entrepreneurs along with the CSUF Center for Entrepreneurship.
