Hackpoly February 6-7

HackpolyWe can’t lie, Cal Poly Pomona is an awesome school and they have a great event for all you tinkerers, dreamers, entrepreneurs, and so on!!!

Hackpoly will be held on February 6 and 7 this year and, according to their official website,

Hackathons are where your crazy ideas become reality. Build anything—there are no restrictions on what you can create. Dive in and make the most incredible thing you can alongside fellow creators. While some may see hackers as the crazy ones, we see genius.

But maybe you’re thinking that you shouldn’t attend because you don’t have an idea or a team. Should you still attend?

Many hackers do not have a fully-formed team or hack concept before the event begins. We will be hosting team-forming activities after hacking begins to help you find the perfect match. If you’re a first-time hacker, there will be many others looking for team members with whom you can pair.

That’s a solid answer and, if you really think about it, there probably aren’t many better ways that you would spend that weekend. Go on over to http://hackpoly.com/ to check out more of the details and, if you think it can help catapult you into the kind of professional life that you want for yourself, then make sure to register!

[If you do go, take some pictures and let us know! We are always interested in learning about entrepreneurial stories from the CSUF Entrepreneurship community!!!]
