We are nearing the end of 2016 and while I know you are busy we do have one last seminar at the CSUF Startup Incubator this Wednesday at 6pm that I hope you can attend. This event will feature James Reichert and he will be discussing the critical lessons he has learned over the years that have helped him succeed in multiple fields. I am looking forward to this last Wednesday Speaker Series event at the CSUF Startup Incubator and I hope that you can attend as well; tickets are still available.

In addition to James’ talk on Wednesday we still have a few more Mentor Office Hours at the Incubator this year (details below). All told, we have accomplished a great deal this year by reaching more than 2,000 entrepreneurs through our events and office hours. To everyone who attended, spoke at, judged, and volunteered at our events please accept my sincere gratitude for being an active participant in our community!

Entrepreneurs face many different issues from the outset of starting a business but entrepreneur James Reichert thinks these three are the most important:
  • How do I get results?
  • How can I improve communications?
  • How do I develop trust?
James has drawn from his experiences in both the public and private sectors to develop simple lessons that you can learn from his talk. These lessons will help anyone considering the entrepreneurial path to avoid many of the pitfalls that usually afflict new entrepreneurs.

Being successful with online marketing can make the difference between success or failure for your business.

That is why we are very happy to bring in Jason Khoo for office hours! Jason is the Marketing Director at Ron Wave Design and he has given a talk at the CSUF Startup Incubator titled: “An Entrepreneur’s Guide to SEO” (video here).

Dave Kinnear is one of our great mentors at the CSUF Startup Incubator who will be holding office hours to answer your startup and strategy questions.

Dave Kinnear is a Business Advisor, Mentor and Executive Leader Coach.  Through his affiliation with Vistage International, Dave convenes and facilitates peer advisory boards of Business Owners, Company Presidents, General Managers and Chief Executives dedicated to becoming better leaders who make better decisions and achieve better results.

Center for Entrepreneurship Board Member, Andrew Carroll, has a ton of financial and accounting experience he will share with anyone who visits him during his office hours later today. Click below to find out how to visit him during his office hours.

The CSUF Entrepreneurship Alumni host a business roundtable on the third Thursday of every month at the CSUF Startup Incubator and all are encouraged to attend these free meetings. Bring your entrepreneurial ideas, challenges, or just sit in and listen!
The CSUF Entrepreneur Roundtable features a fantastic group of mentors with impressive backgrounds so that every participating entrepreneur will get tremendous feedback on what they are working on. Don’t be shy! This can turn out to be one of the most consequential entrepreneurial events you ever attend.
