What did the Daily Titan have to say about the SoCal Celebrates Entrepreneurship event?

The Daily Titan has a great article up about the SoCal Celebrates Entrepreneurship event we held a week ago to celebrate all the entrepreneurial and innovative people in our community. A collaborative event with many local universities and others in the entrepreneurial community, SCCE brought together more than 600 individuals to discuss entrepreneurship and develop relationships that will help the entrepreneurial community in the area for years to come.

Here’s a bit from the Daily Titan article

This year’s collaboration between CSUF’s Center for Entrepreneurship, Cal Poly Pomona, Concordia University Irvine, Cal State Los Angeles and more, increased the event’s footprint past Orange County.

More than 600 people attended the conference, which was held at the Titan Student Union , and it was the first in-person event of its kind since February 2020.

“It’s actually kind of special in that you don’t see universities collaborating together,” said John Bradley Jackson, the director of the CSUF Center for Entrepreneurship.

Sridhar Sundaram, the dean of the College of Business and Economics, welcomed entrepreneurs to the event and discussed  the role  he felt the CSUF Center for Entrepreneurship played in supporting social enterprises.

“We know economically, this is important and critical for us to have a really good ecosystem for start-ups,” Sundaram said. “But we also want to make sure that they can be a force for good.”
