A new school year always brings so much excitement because there are many opportunities to make consequential things happen. Let’s build on the successes of the last school year and make this one even better!
We are wrapping up our client recruitment efforts but we still need a couple more clients ready to engage with our bright and energetic students. These consulting projects are the cornerstone of our students’ educational experience at CSUF and are our secret sauce by connecting real life business situations with academic lessons. If you are interested in becoming a client of CSUF Consulting or know of a business that would benefit from our services please get in touch with Client Project Specialist Charlesetta Medina at (657) 278-8243 or by replying to this email for more information.
The CSUF Startup Incubator continues to grow and assist entrepreneurs in achieving their goals. We have ambitious growth plans with our new location at the CSUF Irvine campus that we will be launching. And don’t forget about our events and office hours that we have scheduled every week at the Incubator, these are great opportunities to learn something valuable and to network with other motivated entrepreneurs, students, and professionals.
In October, we are partnering with the National Startup League and the Center for Economic Education to host the fourth Titan Fast Pitch competition. This competition brings together university and high school entrepreneurs for a fun day of pitching business concepts. Many lessons are learned and there are scholarships to be had. In the spring semester, the CSUF Business Plan Competition kicks off with the goal of crowning the best business concept at CSUF.
We have a lot of great things in store for this school year and while this is only the first day of the fall semester I have a feeling that this will be another great year for CSUF Entrepreneurship thanks to you and everyone else in our community!
