Cal State Fullerton Alumnus set to Release Movie About Mental Illness

Extraordinary Ordinary movie posterOne of the many things I love about entrepreneurship is the fact that you can see the results of entrepreneurial people in almost every part of life. Whether it be technology, medicine, a clothing line, or, as is the case with Natalie Rodriguez, a movie.

The movie, titled The Extraordinary Ordinary, just released a new trailer (see below). Besides the fact that this movie was created by one of our alumni what draws me to this movie is the tough subject it tackles: mental illness. While I haven’t seen the movie yet, what I do know is that art can tackle tough subjects in a way that normal conversations cannot and I hope that this movie helps people to better understand the toll that mental illness can exact. Well done Natalie!
