In this week’s CSUF Entrepreneurship Insider Director John Bradley Jackson talks about the two CSUF Consulting teams that did very well in a national competition.
Two of our CSUF Consulting teams finished second and third in their respective categories at the Small Business Institute’s national consulting report competition. This is a great honor for us and these awards increase our total number of national awards to thirty-one! Dr. Lorenzo Bizzi’s MBA team placed second nationally in the Graduate Comprehensive report category. Lorenzo’s team worked hard to develop a comprehensive strategy report for their client, Orange County Fair and Events Center. This is Lorenzo’s first Top 10 finish in the competition! One of my teams finished third nationally in the Undergraduate Specialized category. Their report for the Fullerton College Foundation focused on developing innovative strategies to increase donations to Fullerton College. I’m very proud of them! SBI was formed in 1976 and is the premier organization dedicated to field-based student consulting and outreach to small businesses. The institute has 130 universities across the country. The mission of the Small Business Institute® is to be the premier provider of professional development for those engaged in experiential student team consulting and related entrepreneurship education, research and activities. SBI is the link between business, education and community. More info on these amazing teams can be found on our post titled: CSUF Consulting Places Second, Third In National Competition. Sincerely,
John Bradley Jackson |
[03/21/17 Edit: In the original post, it showed Professor Jackson’s team coming in second and Dr. Bizzi’s team coming in third. This was the opposite of what happened and the changes above reflect that.]
