We were lucky enough to recently get a profile of the CSUF Startup Incubator on the website Built in Los Angeles.

At the CSUF Startup Incubator we help entrepreneurs start their businesses. For entrepreneurs that get accepted into the CSUF Startup Incubator as Residents, they enter into a six month residency that can be extended. For the term of their residency, Resident perks include:

  • 24/7 access to our location in Placentia to work and hold meetings
  • Expert mentoring and introductions to professionals in various industries
  • Quarterly investor pitches where Residents get the opportunity to pitch investors and startup experts in our community
  • Personal introductions to Cal State Fullerton professors
  • Frequent check-ins with CSUF Startup Incubator staff
  • Tailored startup plan for each Resident that leverages the lean startup philosophy to achieve the Resident’s goals
  • Assistance in developing a business plan, pitches, and startup strategies

Depending on availability and need, many Residents also receive a comprehensive CSUF Consulting report that helps them develop their startup strategy.

This intensive six month residency has helped entrepreneurs, like Iris Dorn, on the road to starting their business and fulfilling their professional goals. While there is a fee to join the CSUF Startup Incubator, it is significantly cheaper than most other incubator and we do not take equity in the businesses that incubate with us. Success is not guaranteed, of course, but working with our experts has helped our Residents save years of effort going it alone to no avail.

We are always excited to meet new entrepreneurs! Come to one of our upcoming Startup Seminars or Entrepreneur Mentor Office Hours to find out how we can help you start your business.

We hope to see you soon!
