The Artist Collective

Founded by a struggling artist, The Artist Collective of Orange County thrives to provide an easy and reliable way for artists to sell their artwork. The Artist Collective of Orange County teams up with the artist and does all the heavy lifting. The artist simply has to price and bring their artwork to the Collective. The Artist Collective of Orange County then sells the artwork for the artist at the local venues. This include: swap meets, farmers markets, craft fairs, and street fairs. The Artist Collective of OrangeCounty sells the work and gives the artist not only their profits but a list of the pieces that sold and in what area. This provides the artist with the information on what artworks sell best in what area. The artist will also be featured on our website. The Artist Collective in Orange County’s website will have a biography about the artist along with gallery photos of their work. In return, a commission of 50% of the artists’ sales is given to the Collective.

Where’s My Stylist?

The problem is that hair stylists leave salons and their clientele often cannot find their favorite stylist again. Especially if they work for a corporate salon, their new salon information will not be given out and it’s against policy for a stylist to give out personal information. The other problem that it can be hard to find a stylist. Yelp has faced scrutiny over fake reviews and the veracity of their reviews. Instagram is a very convoluted process to try to find a local stylist.

The solution is a mobile application and website to help clients and stylists reconnect as well as grow their clientele base. Through this industry disruptor, the business can utilize an already existing market landscape and fill the hole that exists currently.

Peanut Butter Squares

Peanut Butter Squares is a company that simplifies the traditional, peanut butter sandwich-making process. Peanut Butter Square simplifies the process by re-engineering peanut butter into peelable, square slices that can be easily applied. Making a peanut butter sandwich is a relatively easy task for some, but for single moms, what was once a simple process, is now a time-consuming, messy one where moms are unable to accommodate it into their daily lives. The root of the problem is not the time needed for making the sandwich, but the clean-up that is required afterward. Not only is the mess concerning to single moms but the fact that you need a knife to spread the peanut butter makes it difficult for parents to allow their children to make sandwiches by themselves. In addition to the mess and danger of making a peanut butter sandwich, nutritional value is hard to measure. How much peanut butter did you use? How many calories or fats did you put into your sandwich? Peanut Butter Squares looks to solve these three critical problems with one solution.
