Learn more about CSUF Entrepreneurship
Monica Hernandez (’13, Entrepreneurship) returns to CSUF to share how the lessons she learned as a student in the CSUF Entrepreneurship program continue to shape her success today. From collaborating with real-world businesses like Rance’s Chicago Pizza and Forell & Associates to applying the Congruence Model of leadership she learned from Professor Atul Teckchandani, Monica has taken an entrepreneurial mindset into every role.
Now the Director of Business Development and Growth at American Security Force, Monica reflects on the importance of building strong teams, recognizing new opportunities, and aligning strategy with purpose. She also offers thoughtful advice for current students pursuing entrepreneurial paths and previews her upcoming role as a mentor in the classroom this fall.
