Tony Wong is quickly becoming a great friend of the CSUF Center for Entrepreneurship. Recently, we started working with him on a couple of projects and he has an upcoming talk at the CSUF Startup Incubator where he will tell the story of how he raised $4.5M for his business, Badu Networks! That talk is on August 10 and we hope to see you there!
Even though we’ve only known Tony for a short while we’ve come to understand one central fact about him: He never stops. That’s why it was only mildly surprising to see that he will be launching an Indiegogo campaign for a cool app that he has been working on for a while now. The app is called pixelFlik and here’s a teaser video about what all the app can do:
As you can tell, this isn’t one of those simple apps that are made over the course of a weekend, this is no Flappy Bird (which was a fun game, then a maddening game, and…). There is a lot of infrastructure and design work that goes into an app of this magnitude. But, if Tony can get it right then this would be a really cool new feature to have.
Please help support one of the newest members of the CSUF Entrepreneurship community by checking out the crowdfunding campaign when it goes live on July 6. There are some cool, limited rewards for the earliest supporters of this campaign, which are definitely worth checking out.
