The Titan Fast Pitch was a Success!

The winning university team at the Titan Fast Pitch

This year’s Titan Fast Pitch was the biggest yet with well over 500 people in attendance! It was a thrill seeing all of the student-entrepreneurs pitching their innovative business concepts to our all star judges. By hosting competitions like the Titan Fast Pitch our goal is to encourage and inspire tomorrow’s business leaders to think creatively and embrace a career path that will have a positive impact on their lives and, by extension, on the community as well.

While we haven’t had the time to do a full write up of the event yet I can tell you that the winning concept at the university level was from a team led by Terrell Bolden (pictured with his partner above). Their concept involved technology that makes commuting short distances much more efficient.

What follows is the weekly CSUF Entrepreneurship Insider report. If you haven’t done so already, please make sure to sign up for this weekly email from Director John Bradley Jackson so that you can keep up to date on all the entrepreneurial and educational opportunities that are on the horizon at CSUF Entrepreneurship.

I am very happy to report that the Titan Fast Pitch was a great success!

We had over 500 people attend this year’s competition including more than 150 competitors from universities, high schools, and even middle schools. Each competitor was able to give their sixty second business pitch to at least three different all star judges during the Bullpen Round and the top ranking individuals or teams from the university and high school tracks got the chance to pitch their concepts to our elite judges during the Lightning Round. It was a blast!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who was able to be involved with the Titan Fast Pitch. We could not have had such an amazing event without you.

A full write up of the event should be published this week but we have already posted some photos taken by Amerika Bernal ’15 to our Facebook Page.

Sincerely,

John Bradley Jackson
