We recently hosted more than 500 middle school students, high school students, university students, Innovation Fair exhibitors, judges, family, and friends at the Titan Fast Pitch competition and it was an amazing event! It was a treat getting to hear all of the ideas from the different competitors and made all of the hard work in planning for this event worth it. A huge THANK YOU! goes out to our sponsors, including: Dan Black, Ken Guchereau, Vas Arora, and many others.
This event was packed with university and high school competitors pitching their innovative ideas to our judges and many entrepreneurs showcasing their businesses and CSUF students displaying their amazing projects at our Innovation Fair. First place at the University level won $1,500, second place won $1,000, and third place won $500; all in scholarships. The high school students won smaller amounts but also received scholarships to a prestigious entrepreneur academy.
From CSUF News, the winners of the competition were:
The three top university winners were:
- graduate student and CSUF Startup Incubator Resident John Tsui — Chopit Drones
- senior computer science major Jared Kotoff and business administration-entrepreneurship major Ray Campos — VIZLUX
