Congratulations to CSUF Entrepreneurship mentor, judge, a founding board member of CSUF Entrepreneurship’s Titan Women Collective, and donor Janet Steiner who was recently named the 2019 Executive of the Year!

The award was given by the Printing Industries Association, Inc. of Southern California and is quite the accomplishment as that organizations has more than 800 members and member companies combined have revenues in excess of $8 billion annually. Out of this group, Janet was selected as Executive of the Year!
Janet has been an important member of the CSUF Entrepreneurship community for years. She has done everything from mentoring students, judging investor pitches, and has been a donor to the program as well. Speaking for everyone in the community, we know that this award is well deserved.
I found this passage from the article announcing Janet’s winning of this award to be spot on: “Her drive for quality and innovation resulted in Thoro Packaging [the company that she succeeded her father in running] receiving numerous industry awards, as well as Janet personally being recognized on a number of occasions. Although Janet sold Thoro Packagin in 2018 (which is now known as Autajon Packaging Thoro) and retired from the business, she is still very active in the community and is co-chairing the 8th Annual Riverside County Women’s Leadership Conference, to be held in Corona on September 12. One of her goals is to continue to be an inspiration to business people, especially young entrepreneurs and managers, and to provide encouragement for women.”
Amazing work, Janet! And we are certainly honored to have you in the CSUF Entrepreneurship community!
