In the past we have worked with CSUF’s PRSSA and they do great work. The students in this organization do not get paid nor do they get credit for their work at school but they get a lot of experience along the way. They work with companies to develop PR campaigns, social media calendars, and so much more. Their work was recently covered in the OC Register, here’s a sample:

Creations by Design is one of nine struggling Orange County and Los Angeles businesses that are taking part in “Tuff It Out,” a volunteer program started by the Cal State Fullerton chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America. Since the beginning of May, 50 upper division communications students and May graduates have been divided into nine teams to come up with a strategy to help the businesses keep their doors open.

CSUF Entrepreneurship

We are dedicated to helping the next generation of entrepreneurs develop the skills that they need to compete locally and globally. The CSUF Entrepreneurship program does many things, including: consulting projects where students serve up fresh strategies to actual businesses, competitions for students from middle school to grad school, helping entrepreneurs go from concept to launch, frequent seminars and office hours for entrepreneurs and professionals, and much more.
