Twenty Minutes with a Titan – Phillipe Diego Rodriguez ’16

Phillipe Rodriguez

There’s been a common theme from all of these Twenty Minutes with a Titan interviews I’ve been doing: Being involved is a great way to get ahead in life. And that (along with being incredibly intelligent) is one of the things that my interviewee for this episode, Phillipe, points to for helping him succeed so much early on in life.

Phillipe graduated from CSUF in 2016 and has gone on to get his MBA from Stanford, worked as a contract specialist for the Air Force Space Command, was a senate aide to US Senator Kamala D. Harris, and was an intern at SoFi. That’s a lot!

Phillipe also is philanthropically minded. Following the lead of Dan Black, who established the Dan Black Physics/Business Scholarship for which Phillipe was a recipient of, Phillipe has set up his own scholarship for physics students who will be applying for graduate school.
